- The New York State Area Health Education Center System’s “AHEC Tools.” Includes mapping features aimed at providing the user with an easily accessible source of comprehensive, up-to-date, and accurate data on health status, health care supply, health care access, population characteristics and educational programs that train the healthcare workforce. Types of data in “AHEC Tools” include census data, health data, hospital discharge data, perinatal data, health services data, and educational institutions data. AHEC Tools is not yet available to the public, but AHEC is willing to provide reports and assistance.
